The Bronco has more buzz than anything I’ve seen in 4x4’s in years......really if you sit back and look at the 4x4 market today it is a category with a variety of players, Jeep having the most cred and history, and Bronco being added to the mix.
Jeep has a cult like, duck swapping following, to me it has played the the market about like Harley Davidson- more sophisticated vehicles, more sophisticated buyers, with the exception that the Harley buyers are buying into the old image and lifestyle and the jeep buyers it is mostly just lifestyle.
What Jeep needs to do is wake up to the fact that somewhere between the 3.6 and a 392 they can find a displacement that better fits the JL s size, weight and the intended use of most customers.
I’m honestly lost that they can’t seem to see that , despite the pull. FCA top brass went so far to say a bigger engine just wasn’t possible....same guys that were quick to announce the 392 when the Bronco buzz started.
