Many of you know Jeremy on here or have wheeled with him and his wife Robin. Last night, their family lost their home and all of their possessions to the wildfire currently burning through Spokane, WA.

I've briefly messaged with him and he said that they got the vehicles out (including all of the Jeeps) but they weren't able to take much on their way out and he also lost all other Jeep parts. I got his permission to share this here and thought I would share the link if anyone wished to donate to their cause. If nothing else, keep their family and many others in your thoughts.

That’s terrible and something we worry about every summer. For those that don’t know Jeremy and Robin, they are great people. If you can, the gofundme @bbaldwin237 put up is a nice way to give a little help. Here it is again:

I can't get the gofund.me page to work correctly. Tried two different browsers...

Thanks for all your concern. My family is safe. As far as Jeeps lost half doors, full doors, hard top, two partial soft tops, antirock, more. It happened very fast. My sons and one daughter went today. The rest of us will go tomorrow. We are overwhelmed. The pictures are horrifying.

So I responded to the Altadena and Pallisades fires in LA.

I know you've got a ton of shit on your plate right now...but the rental market is going to explode very quickly. If you intend to stay in the area I'd either be looking to purchase a house or sign a long term 1-2 year lease on something.

Get out of the hotel room ASAP.

Keep receipts of everything. Document everything. Record every conversation you have with insurance or any official about the fire.

Sorry you're going through this shit...let's help get you through to the other side.

Jeremy,
I know it isn't close but if you need a place to crash & just get out of the area for a day or week or? my place is offered.... Or if you need a place to park some rigs for a while too...
My daughter moved out in July so I've got the space.... Let me know if I can do anything... I can be there with my trailer in just a few hours... You & yours are always welcome...

Also very sorry for the loss of your home Jeremy. My sister lost her home in Altadena and if your are looking to talk to someone that has walked this same road, PM me and I am sure she will be happy to share her knowledge of how to navigate this.

Some great advice from Mac and add to that start to make a full list of all the things you owned before your memory fades. This is very important to maximize proceeds from insurance. Good advice for everyone is to photo and video all of your stuff as it will be very hard to remember it all after it is gone and you are under duress.

This is what we are trying to do.

Keeping and sending all receipts on the fly.

I opened insurance claim first thing Sunday morning.

Thank you all. Just checking in to say thank you for prayers and any donations.

It's more than I ever imagined.

I guess now I will be equipped to help others who face similar circumstances.
