New development, I'm having difficulty setting the preload. The more I tighten the nut, it just destroys the washer & doesn't get any tighter

Update #57

Got a new crush sleeve & pinion nut so I can get the front axle all buttoned up. However this is going to have to wait. I'll be working 7-12s for the next few weeks due to some newly discovered issues with V3 ship & booster. My plan was to have the front axle in before the end of the year, but it might be a stretch.

Just wanted to give an update & a huge thanks to @hosejockey61 for his help.

Thanks for checking out my build

P.S. here's a bonus picture of flight 11. Water dampening system was not used, so you can see the full force of all 33 Raptors

Yea man, that thing melts away about an inch of steel that needs to be replaced each launch. That's with the water, but I haven't been to the pad to see the destruction of this flight yet

Yeah!!!!! That is Badass!!! Haven't been down to Padre to see a launch, is this one down there?

Power!

Well that’ll kill a build buzz in a hurry! Mr. Musk is lucky to have such dedicated employees, especially these days…

Any bonuses we get are in stock so most employees are very invested in this company.

I might not be able to give you a tour while you're down here but you can still drive over to Starbase and see the boosters & ship in the rocket garden. We're on a public road so you can get out & take pictures

Well, if it was 1990 and I was still in College, you could jump over to Matamoras and get 2 Coronas and a shot of Tequila for $1 and have a pretty dam good time....not so much anymore, ha.

Now people can hop over & get fake tits, Brazilian butt lift & any other plastic surgery for cheap just like most of the women down here.

Update #58

It's been awhile but I'm back in the garage. I didn't get much done but I'm happy to report that the front gears & locker are done. FINALLY. That crush sleeve really gave me some frustrations. I ended up ruining another crush sleeve but luckily I ordered a spare just in case. I got the preload set around 18-19
I also spent a few hours cleaning & wrapping my head around where I left off. I still need to get the rest of the front axle assembled & installed.

Thanks for checking out my build
