I like shooting there but it will end up closed down because of the idiots.
That said, the range in Keystone is really nice and you can use your own steel targets. It's been clean every time I've gone.

this is range i was used to in interior AK. found it disgusting. no one cleaned up their mess

Yeah this range has been shutdown for a while, but the FS hasn't done much to enforce that. Last season I was going past it when some dumbasses were shooting steel with long rifles at ~20 yds and could hear rounds ricocheting all around the trail. We have a family friend who had a rig get hit by a ricochet in the group he was in going past that range too.

Such a simple fix. We bring a big blue tarp and lay it down to catch all the shotgun shells.

Not 100% sure. A few people told me it was illegal and a friend had said he talked to a FS guy that said you couldn't shoot there anymore. But I can't actually find anything confirming that.
