Colorado Krew Hangout

I was up at Keystone yesterday for some snowboarding.
42 DEGREES. :ROFLMAO:

I'm not even sure what to call this current season..

We were up there last weekend and similar. Blue skies, no wind, low 40s. I was down to my base layers and still sweating

I'll be honest, I was in my boxers and a t-shirt by the time we left.
(bibs as well of course..) :ROFLMAO:

I dislike hot days on the snow, because of the ice sheet that forms.
Few falls yesterday had me sliding over 30-50ft down the slope. It was the iciest I've seen it at Keystone.

Yeah the latter part of the season is tough. I love the sun and warm weather but my board feels like sandpaper against wood going down the slopes from the amount of chunky ice.

anyone have some spare 231 parts laying about? seems i had the reference pin installed backwards. probably why i could never really reference which range the XFer case was in.

My shit always sits in a pile and never gets used. I had parts from two different 231's that I tossed about a month ago when I was cleaning up. Unbelievable.

I wonder if the jeep that's been at the pull n pay is still there with a tcase. Might be worth a shot.

LKQ hasn't had one in a long while. I just went there for some CJ parts as they just got one in but somebody beat me to it. I was able to get the dash though. It was on the lot one day. The TJ at the Denver UPAP has the t case when I grabbed the transmission but I'm sure that's long gone by now. I separated it from the transmission and set it in the bed. If you're going to wait for something to come into one of these yards you had better be waiting at their door when they open.

finally put the transfer case together, still need to get the shock mounts figured out and have them welded on.

every month bosses tell me. we will start cutting your hours back. and then schedule me double

No, it's the real deal. Our breakout run for the new season. Historically, it has been a run for all levels of skill that usually include a mild run and Chinaman Gulch.
