True true, had to get out somewhere. At least I know it can go down the highway, and there were enough rocks there to know nothing serious is wrongNot surprised, hell it is still skiing seasonMay/June is when things become a bit more accessible.

No judgement here, I wont tell anyone. Ever since the pandemic started I see multiple vehicles a day with out-of-date tags, some as late as 2020. Even temp tags from dealers are still being used. When I bought my truck, I was anticipating the same thing, but I only had to ask for an extension once and my title work was finally processed after about 3 months.Lookin good! Yeah I see so many cars around me with no plates and etc that I wouldn't be too worried if I wasn't going out of state. Feel like it would be a PITA more than anything if I got a ticket in Utah.No judgement here, I wont tell anyone. Good timing! It'll be nice to have a new top for the drive I betMy safari top and header bar are trashed, the top is torn in multiple areas and the velcro straps have pretty much disintegrated. The header bar is bent and the channels are no longer able to hold the top in place. My bestop replacements should be delivered today
Yeah I think so. I think I've got too much other crap to get done before leaving to have time to swap it out - I don't want to end up having trouble getting the soft top on and ending up with no top@lBasket aka iBasket - are you hard topping it for moab again?
I'm debating driving out with just a sunshade, but am leaning toward not since the mountains will still be pretty chilly and all the runoff will make the roads wet.I don't want to end up having trouble getting the soft top on and ending up with no top
That... does not sound enjoyable. Even if it wasn't cold lol so much windI'm debating driving out with just a sunshade, but am leaning toward not since the mountains will still be pretty chilly and all the runoff will make the roads wet.
Remember our trip back? We were in that snowstorm/pouring rain from Vail to Loveland Pass.I'm debating driving out with just a sunshade, but am leaning toward not since the mountains will still be pretty chilly and all the runoff will make the roads wet.
I figured Utah wouldn't care about Colorado platesYeah I see so many cars around me with no plates and etc that I wouldn't be too worried if I wasn't going out of state. Feel like it would be a PITA more than anything if I got a ticket in Utah.
Hmmm I've always kinda figured all the neighboring states are out to bust us "pothead coloradoans" so they'd take any excuse to pull me over and mess with me. Don't know for sure thoI figured Utah wouldn't care about Colorado plates
Haha, indeed - that was a good timeRemember our trip back? We were in that snowstorm/pouring rain from Vail to Loveland Pass.
CO weather is so unpredictable, thats why I always have the safari top on. Shade and shelter
Try it out! I hope it's not as windy this year as last year. You're all reminding that I tore my old soft top on Escalator. And I maybe ought to dig out the bikini top for the first time!
It's really not that bad to put on, I did it on a cooler day even.Try it out! I hope it's not as windy this year as last year.
All this soft top talk... I'm talking my friend into coming to take the hard top off today so I can try to get mine on
I've never put it on before, so I'm not 100% I have everything and I think I need to drill in for the header/tailgate bars and such is why I was iffy. He can come back friday and put the hard top back on if I need to though so might as well give it a shot. It's really not that bad to put on, I did it on a cooler day even.
My faultYou're all reminding that I tore my old soft top on Escalator. And I maybe ought to dig out the bikini top for the first time!
I got you and Jason both twisted up on the escalator due to my poor spotting skills. Was it? I can't remember.![]()
