Colorado Krew Hangout

I could possibly be in for a weekend Holy Cross run, but I’ve had some job changes come up the last few weeks, so during the week is probably out for me for the rest of this year.

I too have been swamped this year. Along with working 72 hour work weeks. my wife screwed up her thyroid. She's is just now recovering after two months.

Tried to install some air lines for the lockers last night. Didn't get very far. Nor have I installed the rockers. So I'm just being lazy

I've been chasing multiple fuel delivery problems with a lack of time...

If we’re bitching about being busy and making excuses, i’ll chime in. I put a 3” lift on my 21-year-old’s JK; took me a few weeks’ worth of evenings after work, and I got zero help from him. “Thanks dad; looks great”. Still need to buy spacers before the bigger tires go on, and probably a front driveshaft. Plus all the maintenance on my wife’s and other kids’ cars it’s nonstop. Doing ATF on the daughter’s KL Trailhawk tomorrow before she goes back to college.

That’s why I haven’t run Holy Cross this summer. Well, that plus my rig wouldn’t make the first hundred feet.

ACTUALLY had a day off yesterday, I remembered red cone as being a fairly easy drive so took the kids and the wife up there in her JK.

She was pointing out every single rock that was over 8" high.

Only saw 6 other vehicles the whole time on the trail. But it was windy on the peak.
