LED Tail Lights

Grote makes an *excellent* factory replacement set (you will need a flasher like the Novita LM470). These have side markers and reflective surface just like the factory (otherwise you'll need to add red reflective tape). The LED backing light is very bright and so is the brake/turn signal lights.

You have to get 1 each of those lamps, since once of them is for driver side (with the bottom illumination for license plate) and the other is the passenger side. In the reading that I did, this was the best option that I found that satisfied everything I was looking for.

I love the Savvy lights, but for my current needs I have decided to go with the above.

I have a problem with Quadratec and their absolutely horrible customer service, that’s about it.

For what it's worth though, I bought the same set of taillights from Amazon here:

Then I purchased the LED flasher relay separately:

Came out to be about $82 give or take. The only thing different from my purchase versus the Quadratec kit is that it doesn't come with a plug-and-play wiring harness.

However, you'd have to be stupid not to know how to do wiring this simple. There's literally three wires per light, and they're all color coded. You just match the colors together and that's it. I just went to the electronic store, got some factory style connectors, and boom! Saved myself probably $50 or so.
Hey chris i know this post is older than most peoples children but do you possibly have an updated link to the lights you choose?

Hey guys I have a set I'm not going to use. They're new, lower profile free to whoever wants them. Local to SCV CA. Or pay for shipping.

Thanks man. Do you have a write up or know of one on here for wiring them in? Im looking to swap in led tail lights when i put in my new headlights in a few days. Id just prefer to go all led so it all looks and functions properly. Thanks your the man
I don’t have a write-up but it’s super easy and there’s only three wires on each light. If you Google the instructions for the Savvy LED taillight wiring install the wires will be the same for these ones as well.
