It was a 5 speed knob on a 6 speed tranny. "They're driving in the wrong gear!"
Kinda hard to do when some places I camp are 5+ hours away, nowhere near an accurate weather station, and no cell signal.

I have had the displeasure of meeting people like this. I weep for their children.
Neighbors and coworkers can tell them to fuck right off and get a life... Kids generally don't dare go there until they're well into their teens, by then they're usually too deep into the indoctrination to have a different opinion.
