Figured it out, got to take the bottom bolt out of the bumper, swing it out and attach it first and then put the bumper back on...

Turns out that the retaining bolts that were welded on... Aren't. Going to fab a backing plate, drill holes and thread them.
Interesting thread. Loved the mad max jeep. How many gallons to the mile does that critter get? But I’m looking for something simpler for my street Tj, similar to a Cj, maybe tubular, no winch or stingers. A nice and clean look.
Well I like my nice clean stock one with the jugs off. Simple, yet looks right for me.
gg1, that’s what I’m talking about. Just a pair of lights and maybe hooks. Very Cj. What are they?
@Baltimoreed, those are the stock TJ fog lights on his rig. Looks like he's got some aftermarket clear lenses in the fenders. They look great on a silver rig, don't they?
Stock fog lights and stock hooks. I did put clear lenses on because of my silver color. The only thing I did was take the milk jugs off. Boring to some, but I sort of like just a clean black bumper. TJs look good anyway.
Custom built bumper sprayed in Line-X with an AtoZ Fab winch mount & Warn and a couple old school Daylighters.
4" FabTech springs and Rancho RS5000X shocks with Savvy adjustable control arms. No body lift installed at that point.
Poison Spyder rock brawler set up for flat towing.
