No permit, no BS. You are free to do anything you are happy with.If you are speaking of our shop, no permit needed in rual Alabama where we live, we told the contractor what we wanted and he built it. The concrete floor is 8" thick. 36x56 shop, with 13' roll up doors, 1 man door and 1 10' roll up side door. It also has a 20' wide side shed built on.
