Yes, I have one like that. Can't say if it is the same brand name, but it looks like that. I had to take it back off because as soon as I tightened the bolts up my flywheel started hitting the plate on the tranny. Made a horrible noise. I have an automatic, so not sure if it would do that for a stick shift.

My hubby didn't like it because he said all it needs to do is catch a branch or something and it could break the ears off the tranny. He was going to redesign it to hook somewhere in the front, to the motor or something, but it is still laying on the ground by where I park my Jeep. LOL

oK thanks. I just ordered the TeraFlex 4667100 4.0L Oil Pan Skid Plate Kit so I'll see how that one works.

If you take a look at a stock Rubicon forward skid is bolted to the lower control arm bolts at the frame. This might give your Husband an idea.
