I can do any of them except the 20th. Would love to make one of those dates work for Hackberry Creek.

Throw that drag link into a 20ton press for a little more curve and move on with your life.
I would hate to admit how many times I have done mine. I tend navigate by braille I have been told.

I could be available on the 11th. I think the next two weekends I'm booked. We could always do some stuff up here when it gets too hot down south.

Is anyone interested in a day trip on the Oracle Control Road from the fire station on top of Mt. Lemmon to Oracle, then back to Tucson on the Oracle Highway? Or the reverse order? It would be a good time to do it with the extreme heat in the valley as long as we don't run into any flash flooding. There's some decent food and cold beverages to be had at the Sawmill Run Restaurant in Summerhaven as well.

Figure about 3 hours on the control road and another 1-2 hours on the Hitchcock Highway depending on how often people want to stop at the overlooks, maybe an hour at the restaurant and about an hour on the Oracle Highway between Oracle and Tucson so looking at a full day.

Could be a nice break from the heat. Did you have a date in mind?

I took the Mt. Lemmon to Oracle route.

The burgers are pretty good at the zip line place as you exit the trail on the Oracle side. It was a nice place to hang out and was absolutely dead when I was there (awful business decision).

Being that I have no commitments other than possible jury duty the week of 8/12 I'm pretty open and can probably leave the time and dates to those with more restrictive schedules and actual jobs! Mike I didn't know about the burger place, might be a good plan since if we start at the top it will be too early for lunch and if we start at the bottom we will hit Summerhaven during the lunch rush which is likely to be standing room only on the weekends, and they are closed Monday and Tuesday.

I'll have to look up the burger place at the zip line place.

edit: looks pretty good, they're only open 4 days though, closed Mon-Tue-Wed

Working stiff here, so I'd be relegated to weekends. Booked the weekend of 8/10 and 11. Would be coming down from Gilbert.

I would love to tag along, but my hip revision surgery is scheduled for the 29th and I haven't driven my jeep in several months. That sounds like a great scenic trip.

Busy time of the year for me. I wont be doing much wheeling until after labor day. Heading to Ouray at the end of September though.
