Low cost 2005-2006 inner shift boot replacement!

I wish the older rubber boot style fit in my 2005. I like that look much better then the tall leather one !!!
 
It works perfect! No more furnace and I spent less than $20! The rubber is very soft and supple and I can’t tell the difference between having it on now and when there was nothing at all. No binding and no hard shifting. My foot A/C can actually be felt even with the doors off! Sorry for the long post but I had to share.

I am in the process of putting down sound deading and Bedrug in my 2006. My shift boot was pretty bad looking and was loud when I drove. I used the Drake Mustang shift boot as well.

I liked the idea of flipping it upside down. I could have gotten the hole a little closer to the driver side but it came out okay. I used
