I sent a message to m/t to make sure,does seem weird,but discount tire is legit and should know what they are talking about.

I sent an inquiry to MT customer service:

Q. "are you discontinuing any of the Boss series tires?"

A. "Not at this time."

I was going to try Big Brand Service for personal reasons, but they said they couldn’t get me the Bosses.

Discount Tire said they could get me five Bosses from the east coast but they were discontinued.

“Trust but verify”…thanks for looking into it with MT.

I just got a set of MTZ Legend’s. Only a few weeks old so not much to say. I’d seen them on one if @Irun rigs and was impressed. They’re also made in the USA, which was attractive to me. The 35’s only weighed 65.4lb. Very good for a 35. Load D.

I like the MTZ look more than the Boss, but was going to get the Boss because of the positive reviews.

Big Brand Tire told me today that they couldn't get me the Boss tire. Discount tire can get me five Boss tires from the east coast, but warned me that they've been discontinued by MT. WTF is that all about? I didn't expect that since the Boss is supposed to be a newer offering.

I'm leaning towards the MTZ since they look similar to my STT Pros that I like. The STT Pros are on backorder for Discount tire until May.
