Oh, I installed the heat shield kit around the fuel rail and injectors. To help resolve the heat soak misfire that only happens to me in the summer and only once in a while. It works BTW, no more misfire on a super hot restart, even in the August heat.

I replaced the fan clutch and belt and tensioner and idler pulleys while there. I went with all mopar brand parts. Oh yeah.

people with a close eye will see i stacked two heat shields. Cause i wanted to. A new mopar shield and then the one from DEI.

I still have the brown Stepside, for those who care. Sadly,it's on 40's and beadlocks now. And I built a cage with frame tie ins and sliders. And switched to all PSC steering stuff. I have more parts for this thing also, still to install....

It will still do burnouts on pavement with the 40's, so everything is ok.

Also the aluminum China radiator I put in it is no Bueno in August. So, I will toss a brass and copper, 4 row big block radiator and a 19" fan and HD fan clutch in soon. Summit racing thankfully still sells the 4 row brass radiators, price went up from the old days. Hahaha.

You ever buy stuff and know it's wrong, well I bought that poop radiator and knew they were shit. Ah.

Welcome back. And no worries about taking a break. I can totally relate to that.

Love how the Jeep is looking and really enjoy seeing those pictures of your Chevy. The truck looks AWESOME and those 40's really make it look even better.

Should I install this grille hoop I've had for while?

also look at the dust collecting on these transmission parts. And it will be at least next weekend before ill install.

also going to switch to the minimalist console. I bought both types off ebay. The dual cupholder and the single.

I bought the b&m shifter. Not sure how ill like it. I will carefully save my original. And i have goodies for the 42rle.

I'm a fan of the radiator hoop but like anything it's all up to the owner as to what they do or don't like. Sort of like the M/C fender train wreck thread.
Mine is a little more than just a radiator hoop but "IF" you ever roll it can get you home maybe.

That looks good to me, and with an 8274 in it you'll always have my approval. I'm a fan of the old school look though. I'm gonna mock up the grill hoop and see what i think.

I did see that MC fender thread and the "rough ride thread" ,good stuff. Some replies almost carry the Pirate 4x4 of old spirit. I like it. I'm glad Chris lets a lot of stuff slide.

Yep, yours and my likes seem to follow along the same lines. But what works for one is fugly to another was my point.

Once you mock it up let us see it too. I'm sure I don't need to say it but make sure to make it removeable.

And I was thinking the same about removable.

You used to live in ID, right? You're like in MT now. I don't blame you either way. Both are great.

I was in Lewiston ID for a few years. I moved back to MT about 2 years ago.

I'm back JMT!

It's nice to see all you fellas too. I'll be on course. With plenty of skilled 110V welds, and white wagon wheels.

I do have access to a snap-on 220V welder, so shit could get saucy.....master fabricator? Who knows.
