Multifunction switch

I drive an 04 tj and the other day I tried to use my left turn signal and made a buzzing sound. Then when I turned on the headlights the left turn signal is constantly illuminated on the cluster. When driving on the highway every mile it starts beeping. If I hit the right turn signal it stops the beeping.
Does this sound like a bad multifunction switch to you?

Not sure about the buzz but I’d start by replacing the burnt out bulbs. Left front or rear bulb burnt out is usually a sign of the inside turn signal light lit. Last resort is the multi function switch or look for charred wires at the plug.

Yes, the MFS can cause those issues, among other things.
I would also check the grounds near the headlights.

Like many others, my multi-function switch had begun to act up. My fog lights were not turning on by themselves, but if I was driving with the lights on and hit a good bump, I would get a long series of warning beeps. No engine light or anything else, just 10+ beeps. The first time it happened was a little wild looking for the reason for the noise, but I researched here and found how this is a problem with our turn switch, its connector, or both.

I recently figured out I could cancel the beeping if I lifted the turn signal like I was about to make a right turn. However, not wanting to...

The beeping is caused by the cluster thinking the turn signal has been on for more than a mile at more than 15 mph.

It can be caused by a bad switch and/or connector. It can also be caused by a bad ground, bad bulb, or bad socket at the front turn signal at which ever side of the grill brings the turn signal lamp on in the cluster.
