My great mod...floor liners.

Got the Quadratecs and I think they look great. The rear liners are nice as they are like a tray that fits right into the little foot area. I wish the fronts were like that. They don't cover as much as I'd like. I need them for all the nasty snow/salt in winter. A lot of the carpet has salt stains on it that won't come off and the Quadratecs don't cover those salt stains, especially under the gas pedal, the liner stops right where you'd need it most!

I'm looking for liners that can actually fit into the whole floor/foot area and actually run up the sides of the inside of the tub and under the door, so it'd look like the whole floor. there's weathertec, it looks to be the best fit, but not as good looking as Quadratec/Rugged Ridge style.

Can anyone comment on the Husky liners?

Can't comment on anything but the Weather Tech Digital Fit floor mats which I have and absolutely love.

From what I can see the Weathertech liners have tall sides that I want. Jeep did such a crappy job on the seal or whatever they put on the inside of the tub, I'd love to cover all that up. It's always bugged me. Mine was one of the last Rubis to roll out, and can tell they just slopped up so bad and didn't care. I never seen another TJ like it. Other than that, the Quadratecs work well and get lots of compliments on the tire tread look.

I had Weather tech on my 2006 TJ and loved them. I just got Quadratech for 2002 TJ and I think they may be better made than the weather tech and almost half the price

Although it is not a TJ, I purchased the Husky Digital Fit floor liners for our 2014 Ford Focus and compared them to the Weather Tech Digital Fit mats on my TJ. The Husky's are just as good and half the price.

That being said, while I like Weather Tech, knowing that there are other options out there that are of the same quality, I think I'll spend less and get something just as good.

Sorry to reignite this old thread but I have a question, I just got rid of my backseat as I have no need for it and I want a floor liner for the back of my lj that will take up the intire rear carpet space. All the ones I find look like they only go up to the rear seat (which I don't have). Any input would be helpful to me and my two mud prone Shepards

This is an old thread but I can comment on this. I have Husky liners in each of my TJ, LJ and XJ and wouldn't be without them in the type of weather we get (snow, salt, etc.). In fact they are one of the first things I bought for each vehicle. They have a nice 2" or so lip along the edges and are fairly ridged so they retain the water very well. They are a bit awkward to take in and out because of their rigidity. I only take them out when I want to wash them. When the water builds up I just throw an old towel on top of it to soak it up. The thing is that the floors stay DRY and that's what you want.

Husky also offers a flatter more flexible style of mat for slightly less money. They are well made and look good but if water is your concern I'd get the ones described above.

I didn't read all the replies but I got the rugged ridge floor liners and they fit awesome. I was skeptical at first since it was really rugged ridge but I like them a lot. They are heavy duty and I just pull them out when I wash the jeep and hose them off. They have a nice deep dish look

@dylansalrin, I see that you didn't revive this thread for reviews of floor liners, but to see if anyone knew of a cargo liner for th LJ rear area without the seat...that is one I have not heard of. You might get in touch with Weathertech, they might have something, or point you in the right direction.

One thing you could do is find a rubber bed mat for a smaller truck, i.e. Ford ranger size, and trim it to fit the area you want to cover...

Funny timing but I was just looking through the Ontario Kijiji ads and this came up. I'm certainly not suggesting that you follow up as Western, WI to St.Catharines, ON is a bit of a hike. It seems like what you're after though. I have Husky liners in my foot wells and really like them. These seem to be the same basic design with the perimeter "lip".

For my LJ, I picked up a piece 42" wide checker plate rubber mat at Princess Auto and used my carpet as a template to cut my own liner. I don't use the back seat either and it's nice to have a one piece mat to cover the entire cargo area.
