I have gone through several problems with my 2001 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. Most recently, it makes a rumbling sound when starting. After a few minutes, the sound goes away and it runs, but I'm worried something new is going out. A bit of background: In Feb., the steering column was smoking and the main connector for the lights had to be replaced. It ran fine for a couple of months, then died on the road. Battery was replaced and calipers because the bolts were broken. It ran for a few days and then refused to start when hot. I replaced the actuator switch which fixed the problem... Now this new soumd began. Starter and alternator test fine. I would welcome any advice!
