There is also a drain hole for the evap directly under that, that can possibly let water in.Okay I'm not sure that this will help the OP much considering I'm working with an 06 but I found my leak today. Now I just need to figure out how to seal it. Right now my only plan is to brush some clear RTV around the area.
In the pic you can see where the ac and heat lines run through the firewall. The black foam around there is where the leak is occurring. Not sure if it's between the AC lines, around the entire hole, or right where the vacuum line runs through. I figure if I seal it all, then I'm covered lol. The AC drain is just below this and is not clogged or leaking.
