Carfax is only as truthful as people report issues. If nothing is reported, it wont be worth a crap. I learned that the hard way a few times.
So does MutantNinja TJ. wives are way over rated. You can fix a bad Jeep, you can't fix a bad wife. Just sayin!
That sucks, my condolences. I feel your pain as I just got back from a house on the other side of the country that my wife bought for probably 30 times what that jeep did. I almost puked

I tried my best and failed.
The 20 Jeeps cost WAY less to buy and maintain though.

I'd love another mint XJ, not wife. I miss my 99'. Can't say that about any of my exes. I'm positive they feel the same way.
true, but he'd of known it was from Conn. and not Fla. and that would of thrown up a red flag !

If I had to guess, at some point the windshield has been changed. Sloppy glass guys will scratch the paint cutting out the old glass. Then they don't prime it before the new glass. But it's not the end of the world. Buy a nice used windshield frame from a southern state. Have it painted to match. Swap it out yourself, or with help from a fellow Jeep owner. One problem solved.
