New control arm install

Well today I started putting on my new rear lower adjustable control arms. Ill have to say those bolts sure are on tight. After doing all the prep work, ( tools out, measuring, cleaning up bolts, antiseize them, making sure the grease fitting is in the right place, tightening and untightening bolts) boy ill tell ya its a job , but I did enjoy it. I dont like the fact that the nut is not so easy to get to on the axle end. Ya cant get a socket on it, and barely can you get a wrench on it, because its between the control arm bracket and the tire,( I didnt want to take the tire off because i had them all chocked. )
I ran out of light so Ill do the other side tomorrow or Thursday.

Hey @mrblaine why is it when I install the JJ in my jeep tj control arms brackets and tighten them down to spec, I can barely get grease in the fittings. are they already greased ?

If they are new, they are already greased. I don't use the grease fittings. We pull them apart and grease the innards once a year or so. We use Redline CV-2 grease. It is outstanding stuff and once you pull one apart, apply the grease, put it back together and see the difference in break away torque, you'll understand.

well late this afternoon, I installed the other control arm. so now the rear of the Jeep is good to go. Savvy upper rear and Core 4x4 lower rear. Lots of Johnny joints.
