I just replaced my Radiator, water pump, thermostat, thermostat housing, and my radiator hoses. Everything was stock when I bought the jeep a year ago. My water pump was on it's last leg and one end of my lower radiator hose was mushy when you touched it and leaking. I decided to upgrade everything. I originally bought new rubber hoses but the lower hose seemed long and kinked when installed. So I bought a kit from Mishimoto that says it fits a 97 wrangler. The hoses seem like they are kinking because they are too long. I have never seen hoses do this on any vehicle. Is this normal, and I'm over reacting? It just doesn't look right to me. Any advice would be appreciated.

I don't know how easy trimming would be with the flared ends. I would just trash them and buy some Gates or similar quality rubber hoses.
After re-reading the post and realizing you bought them, I'd get ahold of whoever you bought them from for an exchange for the correct fitment or a refund for shitty fitment and buy some Gates or similar quality rubber hoses.

I contacted them and they asked for pictures. I sent off an email. I'm hoping they sent the wrong hoses because their return policy is " you can only return unopened packages". If they can't be exchanged for some that fit, I will chalk this up to an expensive lesson, and never deal with that company again.
If I can't exchange them with the company for some that fit correctly, I'll probably just find someone to give them too that has a vehicle they will fit on. At least they get used that way. If I cut them and they still don't work, then they aren't any good to anyone.
I actually bought rubber hoses from Autozone or Oreilly (I don't remember which). The lower hose their computer picked out was basically the same as the silicone hose in the picture. It didn't kink as bad, but it still kinked. I tried finding factory style clamps. I'm going to go to a local radiator shop and have them find a hose that will fit correctly. I couldn't find any large enough online.
