Ok so I don't know why, but I ended up with $35.00 in discount coupons plus today was 20% off day at Harbor Freight........

I had been looking at 3/8 battery impacts and watched videos and read reviews on the HF one.

Granted you have to buy the tool and batteries/charger separately but with coupons and the discount I figured what the heck why not.

Here is what I picked up. The impact has a 5 year warranty and the battery and charger has a 3 year warranty.

Gonna try and put it to use tomorrow.

Gave it a little shakedown today, pulled the steering stops out of the OEM outers from my Big Brake kit install. Little impact zipped them right out.

I did notice that HF recommends using a 5AH battery which is what I bought, I was thinking (and yes it hurt) if some of the reviews I read about power weren't people using 2AH batteries..........

So far I am satisfied with the purchase.

I don’t have that specific tool, but I do have a few Hercules 20v and 1 12v tool and I have no complaints with them.

I will probably try the compact 1/2 inch next.

The weight difference between the Hercules 3/8 (not much difference than the compact 1/2 inch) and the big Dewalt 1/2 impact is unbelievable.

I know Hercules is not Dewalt or Milwaukee, but for the home shop and with them being 15 minutes away, they are hard to beat.
