New Tool Day

I have several brush piles to burn, they have been soaked with rain water for a good while now.

Gonna soak some scrap wood in diesel fuel for the next couple of nights and hopefully get a day where it's not windy soon and burn them.

Went to Harbor Freight and picked this handy dandy propane brush burner up to help get them going!!!!!

If you've got a deer or elk hide you want to tan hair-off, soak it in wood ashes in water. The lye in the ashes breaks down the hair follicles very nicely!

I do not hunt unfortunately! I just don't want the dog to run through a pile of ash lol

Nope outside dog, but she won't be able to get into them, I am always outside when she is out of the kennel

I meant my dog lol. He sleeps on my bed! I don't want ash on it. I don't think it would be bad for them unless they were eating or sleeping in it?

Had dogs when I was a kid, they ran free. If I can't give them that life then I'm not making them suffer in a house. Ours also loved digging in ash. We burnt a lot of stuff.

He loves to do both. A fluff of many interests. Bed laying and running free.

Well does my wife's dog count, cause it's a house dog.......

Depends how big it is

Mini Schnauzer so not a big dog, just a freaking big mouth.

Fixing to put a sign on door, you don't have to knock, the Schnauzer let us know you were here when you turned into the driveway....
