But is it left or right handed?
Yes
But is it left or right handed?
About forty-some-odd years ago, I came across an adjustable wrench being sold as "Metric". Not only was it printed on the cardboard hanger-thingy (which I could have accepted as just some poor advertising), but it was cast right into the wrench. Can't remember what brand it was, or what store it was being sold at, but I've never forgotten that "Metric Adjustable Wrench". The one you posted above is far cooler. A "must have", to be sure!![]()

They actually do sell them as metric and SAE (in some brands) for the labeling along the opening where it shows you what size it is set to.
So, are those advertised as a “10 inch Metric Adjustable Wrench”?
I guess I get it, but it seems downright silly to me. I’m trying to think of any time that I’ve grabbed a knuckle-buster and gave any consideration to what size it needed to be set at other than tight enough to not slip.
Fair ‘nuff!I actually used mine the other day when I went back and forth between different sockets and none seemed to fit! I couldn't reach a caliper in there but I could an adjustablr. Turned out I was using one of the right ones but it just didn't like the 6pt I was using and preferred a 12pt.
That's about the only time I could see it being useful. Otherwise it's just whatever I need it to be, including a hammer or a pry bar! lol
I was wondering the same thing about pliers, but never expanded beyond that. It’s a humorous thought, I’ll give you that!Do they make metric pliers, screw drivers or hammers?

Maybe the sleeve the wrench came in didn't have room for " 254 m.m. Metric Adjustable Wrench "![]()
But I'll betcha it's on the package JIC they sell to Canada.

Sort of, when it comes to "Phillips" screwdrivers. Look up "JIS Screws" - both the size and the angles are different than Phillips.
