Well, this wasn't in the plan for today. My wife and I have decided that we are going to add a truck camper to our life which meant we need a bigger truck. After looking at what we expect to haul and tow, we decided that a 1-ton dually made the most sense.

Then today, my wife shows me a truck that seems to check all of our boxes and then some. A couple hours later, I go home with a pearl white, 2019 F350 Platinum Ultimate dually. It's a 6.7 Power Stroke with 44k miles and already has truck camper mounts and air bags. The dealer had put new tires on the rear and I managed to get them to include matching tires for the front as well as an extra key, a full tank, and some repair on a little corrosion on the rear wheels. It's a 1-owner, local truck. It's got everything I think you could possibly get on a truck in 2019, including massaging seats which my wife is very excited for!

Now time to sell my other truck and recoup a little money.

Congrats! You’ll love the 6.7! I have a 110k trouble free miles with nothing but smiles on my 2020!

Edit: if you do your own maintenance, you’ll want to give the engineer that designed it a hug. First truck I’ve owned where the oil filter isn’t located above something else and you can drain all fluids without making a mess. Normal maintenance is a breeze!

I hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoy out F-250!

Yes, I'll do my own basic maintenance like fluid and filter changes. That's good to hear, my current Ram 1500 goes all over the steering rack and cross member 😑

Thanks, we're really excited!

My step daughter has the same truck and it pisses me off to no end every time I change the oil on it! Yet, every year for her birthday I continue to give her free oil changes for the year. I guess I’m a glutton for punishment.

But you're a good Dad and that's what's important.
