Fix one thing, and something else starts to happen.
Recently upgraded my tires from some crappy 32 inch mud tires, to a set of 33x12.5x15 BF Goodrich K02s. Had them mounted and balanced. Fixed my front steering to ZJ conversion all is good.
Now I am getting a noise from I think the rear end, sounds like a low-pitch whining of some sort, the noise only occurs when I am in gear, decelerating. Noise goes away when I depress the clutch or when im in neutral. This happened shortly after getting tires put on. Happens in every gear, at any speed over 15 mph. I don't remember this noise when the 32s where on the car.
As far as I have read on other threads, could it be the rear pinon and bearing? I'm guessing it's not okay to drive it like this? Any help would be great...
