Novak cable install

If you have installed a AA / Novak transfer case cable shifter did you have problems with the transfer case bracket? Was it too high? Can I take off transfer case shifter tab and turn it up so it will be in sync with the new cable? The placement before dismantle of OE, shift tab was facing down. I see the shifter tab is keyed and was wondering if this would create a problem if I turn it up. Directions are very direct yet leave me with unanswered questions. The Jeep is an 06 LJ,4.0 w/ I believe a NV241OR. I know there are great minds here with tremendous knowledge. A little help. Thank you, Mike aka, burghermike Happy New Year

There are two versions of the shift bracket, one for the 231 & another for the 241OR, which have shift levers that are opposite from each other...is that the issue?

Seems to be. I must have an incorrect piece and also short a part. Thank you for the response.

I have discovered I have the wrong bracket. Thanks for the heads up glwood. Nicely done. Appreciate the help
