Nutserts for small rocker

As I've mentioned in my build thread, I've removed the fender flares and do not intend to replace the small rocker flare on my TJ. Has any removed the nutserts that are in the body since they aren't used?

How did you removed them? What did you cover them with?

I'm looking at some rocker armor sides, but I'm afraid they won't sit flush with this nutserts protruding.

I imagine, if you're not going to reuse them for the rocker panel guard, you could probably drill them out.

Some come with a rubber gasket. I put Rubicon rockers on mine. Left the nutserts and places the gasket and rocker over top of them. The gasket gives enough to conform around the nutserts.
