O2 Bank 2 sensor 2 question

Hey guys,

I have a 2000 TJ, 4.0 and I just replaced the o2 sensor for Bank 2 sensor 2. I ran a diagnostic on it after I let it warm up and its running at a consistent 1v even. Doesn't fluctuate even when I rev the engine. Is this ok? Normal? I thought there was some minor fluctuations in the voltage. Thank you all

MAYBE BUT... Now I am getting 2 codes. P0158 and P0161

Is your CEL on? or codes just shown on the OBD11, were your plugs clean when you fitted the new sensors?

Did you use NTK sensors? Are the wires good?
The P0161 code means that the O2 sensor heater circuit is shorted or open.
The P0158 code means that the O2 sensor sensing circuit has a too high voltage.

Took it for a test drive and the after maybe 3 miles the CEL came on. Ok, so I am new to this. What plugs? I know the sensor had a cap on it. I took the cap off and put it back in. I only replaced Bank 2 sensor 2

Yes NTK part number 23099. The wires (the parts I could see) looked good to me.

OK, just to be clear, you didn't install it with the plastic cap on the sensor did you?

The plug sockets the o2 wires plug into.
I think the consensus is to change at least in pairs, that's like only changing 2 spark plugs or one tire!

I doubt the cap would even fit in the threaded hole.

Yes "Verdigris" is your electrical enemy, disconnect and then reconnect, if all else fails do what I did, I tapped my o2,s with the handle of a screwdriver and my CEL didn't come back
