Year 2000 is not the best years of TJs, actually it is one of the worst IMO.
With 134,000 miles @ $8,500 is a bit on the edge for you are almost 200,000 miles in a couple of years.
I spent $2,500 between 100,000 to 200,000 miles on my sahara just to give you a heads-up and I am mechanically inclined.

Good looking TJ for $20k, unfamiliar with the trim though, thought there was only a Rubicon, never heard of Death Trap...wonder if it was after an Angelina Jolie movie like tomb raider, or Lindsey Lohan and parent trap

This is exactly what I am looking, too bad I am on the east coast. I am looking for a banged up TJ that I could potentially convert to a snow plow jeep, but also take a few parts off like Rubicon flares or larger tires or other stuff, to use on my LJ.

The axles and transfer case alone would get you really close to the cost of the vehicle. That’s a great buy for someone. If I was closer I would buy it for sure.

That is a good price. Its a shame he drilled holes in the glovebox for the inline alpine amp though because i can tell you from my own experiance it will fit behind the radio.
I like the color. Im guessing it will go quick.
