He severed it during his Rubicon trip in summer of 2024. Here's the first post I could find mentioning a fix:
Ok...got down to it...started stripping things down...first, however I used my 1 1/8" crows foot and breaker bar to fix the pinion angle. Took exact a half inch out of the top link.

Dropped the fuel tank. Seriously caved in the skid. Did some preliminary sledge work but it's going to need more beating. Soaked it all in Simple Green trying to get the 1/4" of ATF and dust sliming everything... leftovers from my Chasing 231J leaks thread.

Worked on the fuel pump wiring. Don't have replacement cavities yet...but I...
Thank you!! Damn that was 2 years ago already. I thought it just happened.
Correct. It was a typo that I will fix now.No, it was last August (2025). He went to Naches with us in July and then to the Rubicon in August.
Is that a paracord net?
Downside is the only rear main they have available is a Felpro.
-Mac
Why is that a downside? I thought Felpro was good stuff?
I went through 3 on my original engine and they all leaked. I then did the RMS the fourth time with a Mopar and it weaped. My stroker I used a Mahle Clevite and it's perfect.
I'll admit the first time or two with the Felpro I might not have applied enough red loctite or RTV...so let's say I screwed up #1 and #2...but three should have worked.
Honestly I think the best fix for a leaking rear main is a new balanced stroker crank.
=)
