The numbered sites start outside the Park on the western slope. It seems like they numbered up to 20-something. They also all have a metal, bear-proof storage box at each site... so that tells you something. I haven't seen that before. On the eastern slope there were a number of primitive sites.Thanks for the pics. We've hung out down there but didn't do any wheeling, it was pre TJ. Looking to go back next year with the jeep.
The kids had a ton of fun with the creek in the sand. I hear there are some good tent camping spots along the trail, is that the case?
