HI! So i just bought a 2004 TJ SE with 103,600 miles. The old owners told me at the beginning of the year around the 100,000 mile mark they replaced the spark plugs replaced, ignition coils replaced and the water pump replaced as kind of a standard tune up at the 100k mark. The Jeep is overall very clean and rust free and i knew buying it that this would potentially pop up and today while running a few errands to grab some stuff for it and then taking my dog to the dog park it was fine running good (as far as i can tell) and then when I went to leave the park the engine light was on. I did the trick of turning the key (not cranking just the first click forward) three times in a row to get the codes and got p300 and p302 which is random misfire and 302 being the 2 cylinder being the problem. So my question is where would be the best place to start knowing that they swapped the spark plugs not too long ago (the shop that did it is a pretty jeep focused one) but yeah! I am excited to start getting into this vehicle and figuring out what what I need to do to keep it going but could definitely use some guidance on where to start.

In my short research so far some were saying that numerous short trips could have potentially thrown a code or something like that but I figured I joined this group for a reason so might as well ask here as well!
