"Pacing myself" build

Joe Thomas is my brother’s name. Actually, Joseph Thomas, but Joe is what happens. With the LJ you might think a different front spring than either the heavy or light/medium.

Same here - Joseph. What are you thinking regarding springs? I have a soft top at the moment - the LJ is stock. But looking to build up.

2” works well for 31’s. 3” for 32’s. OME makes great springs, just know you’ll likely need a spacer up front to get to 3”. I run the heavy’s and need a 1.5” spacer to get to 3.25. My front has a Warn Stubby that weighs in at 39lbs and a winch that is 60lbs.

Do you still plan on doing a Lost Coast JB? I was just looking at my calendar and was wondering.

I've got too much to do to Franky to get ready for Henness Pass, so let's take the Lost Coast off the books till next year.

So, senior moment yesterday. Set my phone on the rear fender flair as I mess with stuff in the back of the jeep. Hop in to head home, get home, and hey, where's my cell phone? Um, yeah, left it on the fender flair and drove off. Searched for it and it's a toast. Guess it's time for an upgrade.

Don't feel too bad. I left my phone on my tire in Calico when I was timing how long the arb took to fill up. I didn't notice it was gone until we got to the hotel. I drove back to get it and it was completely smashed.

Needless to say, I get to shop for a new phone this weekend. I don't have a Verizon store around the block, so it's an hour drive to go shopping, Covid style! In Jeep news, I did tinker with cleaning up the flares a little. The driver front had a nasty dent, so I took the heat gun to it to get most of the ding out, then some spot putty and primer to clean it up. Sorry, no pics, no phone.

I'll make you a heck of a deal on an iPhone 8+. It's 64GB. Less then a year old. Original charger and ear bud. $240. Still have the original box, was $800 new.
