I picked up a good set of Sahara fender flares in green and I'm in the process of preparing them for Sem Landau Black paint. I have thoroughly cleaned them and scuffed the factory paint with grey scotch bright. Do I need to do anything else? Adhesion promoter?

I used adhesion promoter on mine. The biggest issue after prep is the final wipe down. It was hot out. And i think i dripped sweat on one. And the paint did not adhere there. I would hang them with wire prior to paint. And wipe a final time. Right before you paint.

I prepped with dawn, and grey scrotchbrite body pads. Like the green ones but grey. Made for body work. Then a full wipe down with acetone. Adhesion promoter. And then sem. I used body trim color. But wish id gone with the landau. But its not that noticeable.
