I bought a 2000 Wrangler TJ a couple of weeks ago. This is my first Jeep. I noticed when I'm driving the passenger's side looks lower. So I took some measurements. First I put a level on the front bumper. The passenger side is a little lower. Then I measured to the edge of the bumper on both sides and the passenger side is about 1/2 inch lower than the driver's side. What could be wrong?

Is there something missing from one side? For instance, a coil spring spacer, etc.? Take a look and see if you see anything missing from one side, but not the other.
If not, I suspect you likely have a blown shock on one side.

Could be spring sag. Take your measurements at the springs. To correct it you only need to install a spacer on the low side.
My 04 had the same problem , apparently the springs sag unevenly and it’s a common issue especially the right rear .I am planning a lift but It bugged me enough that I jacked the Jeep up and did a flip and switched left to right and it looks good after a few hundred miles .Free temporary (kinda) fix .
It's common for torque from the engine to cause the rear passenger side spring to sag which happened to both of my TJs.
