Looking for a replacement on upper passenger control arm mount. My mount is toast it’s cracked and welded on before and just plain ugly .Have 3 I’m looking at. Which is best ? And does the mount need a Jhonny joint or would a regular bushing be the same ? (I’m odering artec lower control arm mounts to)
I would also have to pay a welder to get this done.

Artec industries $150.99 with Jhonny Joints
$66 with daystar bushing

Currie $205 with jhonny joints no option for regular bushing

Teraflec with regular bushing $70

Currie makes a Johnny Joint kit for the front upper axle mounts.

I believe it’s the one that I posted the link of?
Yep. Do that. :) A Currie/Savvy arm will bolt onto the factory bushings, but if you need to repair the tube side...

I am going to have a currie arm. Picking up the currie lift tomorrow. A bit confused on the currie instructions though. It says to cut off the top of the stock bracket and weld the new currie mount into the existing bracket base. I don’t think my mount/bracket is salvageable its really bad. I would like to cut off the whole mount and install a new one. I wish I can take a picture but I am at work .

Removing the OE bracket and replacing is an option. Here's the Currie JJ.

If you're going this far, take care to align correctly at all angles. A bit of the tombstone will need to be removed to set the same height as the driver's side ear. I'm pleased how this turned out. The new bracket placement restored angles the previous bent mount had lost. Both upper arms are equal length now with no bind.

It's okay to tack the bracket with the JJ internals in, but be sure to remove them before welding.

I used a press/puller tool to R&R the driver's side. The outboard receiver cup needed a bit of modification.

That’s exactly what there going to have to do with mine thanks for the pictures. I will show them this to give them something to work off.
