Pool ball shift knob

I know someone has done this in the past. I have a load of pool (billiards) balls. I had one on my last TJ and liked the feel. I am going to drill a bunch out and I have the proper stainless threaded inserts for my 2000 TJ with the NV3550. Would anyone be interested in buying one? My TJ is amber fire pearl, so I'm doing solid orange. Just gauging interest. The other question is: did other manual transmissions in TJ (AX-5, AX-15, and whatever the 6 speed is) have different threads on them? Does anyone know what they are?

The 6-speed is M10x1.5. Hole should be about 1-1/8" deep.

I think I know who you're talking about, I think his handle was military-related? If it's that guy, he sold some shifters that were pool-ball shape and size, with different graphics and colors.

I have one in my parts bin. Too big for me. Used it for a month or two and swapped to a B&M short shifter. Their ball shift knob is little smaller and feels much better.

I just chucked up some scrap blocks of ambrosia maple in my drill press, shaped them with a flat wood rasp, smoothed them out and wood polished them. I did use some 10mm threaded metal inserts to keep them on the shift levers.
