I am having problems getting my TJ to go into gear but not all the time. I have replaced slave cylinder and throw out bearing. Only thing left is replacing the clutch. Sometimes I can get in it and it goes right into gear smooth as can be and sometimes it just want go into gear at all unless the Jeep is not running. It’s not slipping or anything like that please help! Any advice or any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Danny 97 TJ 2.5

Drain it and put in Redline mt-90 fluid .

Some fluids mess with synchronizer movement due to viscosity.

That's an age-old problem that has been discussed extensively without a single cause or reliable cure ever found. My AX-15 had that problem and as good as Redline MT-90 gear lube is, it did not fix the problem. Neither did replacing the clutch, pilot bearing, or throwout bearing. Not that I replaced those items to fix that particular problem but it didn't help.
