PRP bench seat

Back at it guys, I installed a set of PRP Enduro Elites in 2021 and wanted to add a matching bench seat in back, so I have a question for the forum.
The stock bench is 39", but has anyone installed the PRP 40" high back Enduro Elite bench in the TJ?
PRP says it won't fit, but I thought I read once, here, where someone had installed one, maybe I'm mistaken.
BTW, the seats still look and sit brand new with zero fading.

Here you go.

I have about 2 inches free space on each side.

I made a bracket with some c-channel and welded some tabs to align with the seat brackets.

Greg, I see you had the seat mount/brackets line up by welding another bracket, but would the stock line up correctly?

You could probably fab some tabs on the existing stock bracket but it won't just bolt in. I believe someone mentioned a while back that PRP do make a mounting bracket for the bench in a TJ but I never could find it so made my own out of some spare c-channel.

LOL, actually she sees a ton of sun spring through summer because the doors never go back on, but never off-road. Ha

I'm just jealous. My "garage" doesn't even keep my paint from fading. Your Jeep always looks great.

Thanks, it's the tan because it doesn't show dirt, but red's a tuff color to keep from fading anyway.
