Quick question on disconnects to ease my mind. I am happy with my lift / bl and do not plan on changing it. Tires on the other hand will one day be upgraded to 35 from 33.

My question is would tire size have any impact on the positioning of the quick disconnect? I have been putting off drilling the hole to mount the holder when they are disconnect I do not want to drill a hole now then upgrade to 35's just to find out that i need to adjust the disconnects each time I use them. My instincts say it should have no affect but want some assurance.

I just went from 33's to 35's and it didn't change anything about my disconnects. Tires don't change the amount of lift you have, just increases your ground clearance a little. You might have to look at your bump stops to make sure your new 35's don't rub when articulating.

The Quick Disconnects are adjusted based on the Jeep lift amount. Tires will increase clearance but will not affect Jeep lift amount.

I do hate drill holes on the Jeep too, so I understand that part.
