One other use for the front receiver bar... Saturday the starter failed on my JKU and I decided to let the dealer fix it. The good news was that the failure happened in my garage, not on the road. I needed to get the JKU to the dealer so Sunday I installed the front receiver bar on the JKU, hooked up the tow bar, and towed the JKU to the dealer with my Wrangler pickup.
The tow bar can be used with the front receiver bars on both the JKU and the LJs so I can tow any one of my 3 Jeep with any of the other Jeeps just by installing the receiver bar on the front of the Jeep that needs to be towed. The receiver bar installs in minutes so it's not a big deal when I need to do it.
