What brand are those flat fenders? I've always loved how they look and I want to eventually put a set on mine. Rig looks awesome!

Thank you very much! They are the aluminum GenRight Hi-Fenders.

Glad to help! Its actually a PR4 (Flame Red) paint code 2000. The armor was done in Prismatic Jeep Flame Red powder, it matches pretty well.

It snowed on us when we were up top too. Was weird. That last obstacle at the top before the city has gotten so washed out

Agree, it was very washed and dug out. What day were you up there?

The wet granite adds a level of difficulty in addition to the washed/dug out obstacles.

It was actually 8/1. Idk if it was actually snow or very slushy hail or what.

The French Creek crossing is also wayy different than it was the last time I ran it a few years ago.

But yeah it seems to be wet up there a lot because it rained last time too lol

I would love to come wheel in AZ. How hot was it?

At one point we were around 8,000ft elevation. I don't think it got over 85° at any time. South East Arizona runs a little cooler than Phoenix or Tucson, usually 10-12 degrees cooler. Most of the trails around here are mostly forest service roads, though with out the true forest, and State Trust lands.

Temps are dropping and I wanted to get one last good cruise in before putting the top back on, so I left work early yesterday and took the back way home. Around the back of Mt. Ashland. Normal freeway route is 20 min. Avoiding the interstate is 30. This drive took me 4 hours! Totally worth it!

Didn't take many pics. Here's where the view really opened up. Youtube objected to the radio so I told it to remove the song with AI.

I was struck by the beauty of God's creation, and felt blessed to be living on this beautiful planet.

That cloud looked suspicious....

So I looked it up when I got home, and yup, that's the Moon Complex fire, about 75 miles away. 5,600 acres.

It was plenty warm when I started the trip in my work clothes, Hawaiian shirt, shorts and flip flops. Steadily cooled off and I ended up in my insulated coveralls. Thought they'd be overkill but I was happy I brought them!

Took 1 pic of the TJ when I stopped to put them on.

Time to put the top on. Winter is coming.

Was looking for an old pic and this made me miss Moab.

2006 and it rained a lot a lot that trip. Dressed like the Gordons Fisherman and I couldnt see shit cuz it was raining inside the truck. First time up Escalator.

The two not Escalator pics I had a passenger (victim) that I was trying to give poopy pants :D

When it gets weird, just stay on the gas. Its fine.

I DD'ed that a lot back in the day. People don't park next to you. And if they are in the car and you park next to someone, they moved :D
