Hey guys !! So last weekend i successfully removed my dropped pitman arm, Dropped Track Bar bracket, Installed new Rusty's Front Adjustable Track Bar and did my alignment. Driving like a champ so far. Noticing Some rear end issues so im going to be replacing the rear Track Bar as well. I'm slowly removing all the rough country stuff to more upgraded parts.

My question is. Is there anything i should be looking out for when doing this process ? I'm assuming the "Centering the axle" trick i did on the front end doesn't work on the rear end.

EDIT: I just noticed researching that my rough country 4" lift kit may have come with a rear track bar relocation bracket. I am at work now and cannot confirm this but is it suggested to removed that as well when going with an adjustable rear track bar ?

Post a photo of the driver's side rear track bar mount and we can tell you if it's a relocation bracket. Is the rear axle centered when the Jeep is sitting on the ground?

I will do that for sure when i get home from work today. I'm not 100% sure if the axle centered or not. Any tips for verifying this ?I'm kind of new to replacing some of these suspension parts.

You can eyeball it to see if it's centered by seeing if the tires extend evenly past the fenders on both sides. Or use a tape measure.

installing a rear JKS trackbar soon. Following for tips on how to measure if axle centered to the body

When the rear axle is centered after removing the old track bar you simply adjust the length of the new JKS trackbar so its mounting bolts go directly into the TJ's mounting bolt holes.

you think it will self center once I remove the old track bar?

Typically they do. If not jumping up & down on (jouncing) the rear bumper helps to get it centered. At the most, it it refuses to center when doing those a ratchet strap is enough. But remember, absolute perfection is not the goal for centering as the axle already moves left/right/left on its own as the rear suspension moves up & down.

thanks for this bit. I think I'm just overthinking it
