Rear not level

If you actually get to talk with a non-salesperson at TireRack (Alex, perhaps) they'll want you to measure the ride height from the center of the axle to a point on the body. No amount of discussion or measurement from the ground will dissuade them from this "official" way of measuring. It actually makes sense, because tire pressure will change with temperature, and with load, and with fuel, and with the driver. If you measure a spot on the body from ground when it's cool, and then again when the sun has been on the tires for several hours, you might see a surprising difference.

You won't convince TireRack or H&R that the springs are bad. Measurements and photos will get things rolling. The only way for them to know if the springs are defective is for you to return the springs to TireRack, and they'll return them to H&R, and H&R will test them and claim they're within spec, and will return them to TireRack, who will return them to you. All of this shipping might cost you nothing. Or something. If you have to pay for shipping, I hope you're rich.

Been there, done all of that, for a different problem (no lift at all on an LJ). Sold the springs and bought something different.

TJs lean. The right rear corner is usually the lowest, and there are several discussions on the forum about this. The springs sag over time, and the right rear one takes most of the abuse due to engine torque. What is bothersome is that even after replacing the springs with something new, it might still lean. It shouldn't be as bad, but lots of factors can play into it. TJs lean.

Measure the difference and get a spring spacer. I like StreetRays aluminum ones.

very informative.... As in my first post, just installing a spring spacer was an idea and so far nobody has said not to..I've been looking for 1" spacers.thanks for the vendor. Interesting as there were 2" spacers from SR when I bought the rig,,,,and yes I ordered 1" spacers

Logic tells me if the body and frame are straight: Then sagging at one corner should mean it is higher at the opposite corner. If that not the case then...

Unless both front and rear are sagging on the same side then a left-right swap should shed some light.

Post your results when you're done.
