Rear quarter panel protection

I've had a few close calls on damaging rear quarter panels. Wanted to get others thoughts or pics (preferred) on what the best rear quarter panel protection for the money would be.

I'm not looking for cheap solutions, looking for functional solutions.

P.s. I won't be installing diamond plate quarter panel protection. No offense.

I have the poison spyder quarter panel on my LJ and it has saved my butt (literally) a few times. The only downside is adding after-market flares might not always fit but that's always a possibility when combining mods.

I think down the road I'm going to replace them with some full length that go right to the doors. But these have been awesome.

The best rear corner guards I'm aware of are from Savvy and they're made of T-6061 aluminum... strong and light. I'm running them on the rear of my TJ.

I do like the savvy parts i have put on the jeep. Unfortunately, looks like these are hard to get. Most items on their site are not available at the moment. Been wanting their rock sliders for awhile now. How is the corner guard install?

If your are not in a hurry Savvy are great. I had them on a previous TJ. You could be waiting a long time though. Genright sells LJ full corner guards in aluminum and their website indicates they are in stock.

Looks to be made same to savvy product as far as material. Not sure on design or fit. Anyone used genright and savvy to be able to offer any differences in fit or design on these corner guards? If I hold out for rock sliders, I may as well hold out for corner armor. Unless I hear genright functions the same in both fit finish and function of sliders and corner armor.

Confirmed, I went with Nemesis and not disappointed. I would suggest you email/call them before you order to check the lead time, it did take them a few weeks to fab mine. I did the prep and paint myself as opposed to getting them powder coated.

I run the genright aluminum rear corner guards. Although I used the blanks and cut the wheel openings, so I can't comment on how well they fit a stock rig.

I can tell you that they are cut to fit the Genright rock sliders, which are tall and go up fairly close to the door opening. When I did mine I had to weld in an aluminum strip to properly fit with my rock sliders.

Just be sure to preload the corners properly, I didn’t install them correctly and have a gap on mine.

I have the Genrights in alum corners and fenders. I had originally ordered them in steel to save a few bucks, but once they arrive they were so heavy I sent them back and ordered alum. The fit was great, I can say they are designed to fir there rock sliders. And since I already had PS sliders I had to make a tiny filler piece. I have been very happy with them

Thanks for the pics. They look really nice paint matched. How spendy is the paint matched alum rockers if you're willing to share? Also, is that a 4" fender?
I've heard painting aluminum can be tricky if not prepped well.

the body shop that did the painting owed me a favor so I got them painted for free, and yes they are 4”
