Just be careful with the heat. One bolt is near the upper ball joint and another near the tie rod. If you're breaking it down that far, it's a good time to replace the ball joints (If they haven't been replaced).
This was a great bit of insight in removing a rusted hub. I found on Stu’s site. Atributed to @mrblaine.
Before applying heat try soaking the bolts several times over a couple days with Liquid Wrench, Kroil, or Break-Free. Don't waste your time or $$$ trying PB-Blaster or WD-40 on that job.
Having done quite a few unit bearing replacements, I suggest having a BFH on hand and good penetrating oil (ATF and acetone). When you start finding resistance on one side, let it soak while you work on the other.

This is the only ball joint I'd even consider, make sure to avoid Synergy and store brands. Crap, this is turning into a big project. Not even my rig. It's my 16 year old sons. I might have bought something I shouldn't have bought. This thing needs so much stuff.

With the age of these now, most do. I know that when I buy one, I'm going to spend about $3000 - $3500 in parts to replace worn out or old stuff!This thing needs so much stuff.

If you decided to go with Timken hubs, double check them for wobble, there may be a defective batch floating around.
First set i received was so bad i could tell it was off before mounting wheels. Replacement set was terrorizing me for a month with vibrations before i figured out that it had slightly eccentric spin.

I hope not. I've had a set sitting on the shelf for a few months now. I'd be pissed if I had to toss them.
Fucking amateurs and their full lack of creativity. If they are bad, buy a new set, toss the bad ones in the boxes the new ones came in, return for a refund. Defeats all of expired warranty return windows that way. And it isn't even cheating, just exploiting a loophole they created that they shouldn't have.

Not that your'e looking for even more parts to replace, but when i did mine i replaced both brake dust shields. The originals were in sad shape.
