Removal and installation of dust boot on CV stud yoke?

I'm replacing all of the u joints on my 2002 TJ and I also want to replace the little dust boot (Spicer 2-86-418) that covers the centering yoke assembly thing (which I'm also replacing). How does the dust boot come off and how does the new one go on?

Remove it with pliers. To install, find a PVC coupler that fits against the brass ring and use a hammer to tap into place.

A ball joint press worked perfectly for mine. I got mine from Harbor freight and the adapter came included
